A young lady found a severely injured and maggot-infested cat, initially thought to be dead, and decided to rescue it.
The cat, unable to eat and suffering from multiple leg fractures and hepatic damage, was taken to a hospital for emergency treatment and observation.
Named Nineteen by the rescuer, the cat showed gradual improvement, eating independently and responding positively to care despite its weak condition.
Nineteen underwent surgery, and throughout hospitalization, its health steadily improved, including better eating habits and reduced swelling in its paws.
After a month of care and recovery, Nineteen was discharged from the hospital, showing significant recovery and enjoying a comfortable life with the young lady who rescued it.
They aren’t alone in having an experience like this.
One commenter said “I found a cat in a similar condition. Our vet said “I’ll fix her for free, if you promise me to take good care of her for the rest of her life”. He tried orthopaedic surgery on her broken leg, but had to amputate it in the end due to infection. But she’s been my best friend for the last 6 years”
